From what I've read, this car is one of only 27 to be sold to a retail customer. I purchased this car, brand new, from Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny, IA on 05/03/2014 with 63 miles on the odometer (30 of those miles were my two test drives). I am the first and only name on the title. No professional/commercial service history at all.
I've had the car insured with State Farm since purchase in 2014. I daily-drove the car from 2014-2017. It was the daily driver for my wife and kid from 2017 until Sep 2023. Since then, the Caprice has been parked in a heated garage, on a battery tender, and started once a week to idle for 15min. This car has been fantastic for us, but the family is growing and we need a vehicle that's not so special to tote the kids and rack up the road trip miles.
