Moderate length downtime today

Hi Folks,

We had an unexpected outage today, 5/23/24 for about 2 hours between around 10:45 AM EDT and 1:45 PM EDT. The developer was upgrading the remaining modules when a quirk in one of them (the Recent Topics module) crashed the forum. To resolve the problem a slightly earlier version of the module was applied and was found to work, so the board was brought back into service.

Just goes to show you that although these modules have been around for years in various iterations, when you least expect something to happen.... WHAM! Down we go. Another reason why I'm not too anxious to re-open guest read access until all the modules are done and tested/proven working under real-time use as that will just double our traffic or more. Although we are very close to being ready.
