2012 9C1 Manual Swap - Fairfax VA
Posted: Tue Nov 07, 2023 10:22 am
I am downsizing due to a move for work and have to sell my manual swapped WM . Asking $17,500. No check engine light and about 91k miles. Swap was done keeping the stock BCM, ECU, and wiring harness. Some things don't work due to this but the car will pass VA safety inspection as it sits. Lots of upgrades apart from the swap, details follow. The car is generally in good shape but has some things a prospective buyer should know (see FYI below). Feel free to email me with any questions, thanks for looking!
General details:
2012 9C1
6.0 L77
TR6060 (bought new for swap, 2012 Camaro SS part)
Stock differential
Ls7 clutch
Top end rebuild w/ DoD delete
Center console swap
Infotainment silverbox from Australia (Bluetooth enabled, blue background, hsv startup splash)
G8 back seats
All paint matches
Tinted windows
New tires less than one year old (Pilot Sport All Season 4)
Ss springs
Flood lights removed
New battery less than one year old.
Holden center console bezel
Aftermarket GXP shifter boot
3Pedals mechanical reverse lockout
Engine specifics:
Top end rebuild with cam
OEM LS3 camshaft
Ls7 lifters
Oil pump
Blackstone oil analysis results are great (2 most recent attached below)
What doesn't work:
Stabilitrak (fixing requires a manual g8 gxp ECU and some harness mods)
Cruise control (needs gxp ecu)
TPMS light is because the sensors in the wheels are have dead batteries.
FYI:
Radiator hoses are getting old and should be replaced soon
Wheels are slightly out of balance and there is some shake starting around 70mph
The car has been paint corrected but still has some small dents
Trunk lid still has a patched fiberglass plug for the antenna hole
Chrome windows trim on the drivers side needs new clips towards the A pillar.
Changes to harness:
Reverse light switch on the tremec is wired directly to the reverse light relay. Pin has been added to pcm connector but caprice pcm doesn't respond to switch signal.
AT harness components have been removed
Included with car:
Full set of SS wheels
Extra set of headlights (bought used)
