I used oil pan #24250062, filter #24258269 and gasket #24224781. This filter has the wide mouth and the lip that extends down.

Sorry to revive this thread. Is a different dipstick required for this?

I would "guess" not - you won't need a different dipstick. I have the deep pan and I own a dipstick but have not installed it yet. I think that the dipstick level is relative to the transmission more than the pan depth. The pan depth just buys you more quantity of oil.. better heat dissipation. The new filter effectively gives you a deeper "pickup" in your now deeper pan.

What dipstick? These cars didn't come with one. However, the level, whether with a dipstick or the drip hole method, is the same.

You can get a dipstick for it. I bought it from some rando mfg. I think any 6L80 equipped car with a dipstick is a possible candidate for an "adaptation" of the part.

I'm about to try this myself in the morning using a Janetti Racing dipstick along with a Camaro deep pan and wide mouth filter.
My question is about what currently seals the hole where the dipstick tube goes through?
