R&R the accessory belts. It's been done before, but I don't know when. At 96K miles, I figured it was time. We finally had some weather this year that wasn't 400-degrees and 9,000,000% humidity. While I did have a set of tensioners available should I need them, the ones on. the car were smooth and quiet, so they stayed on it.

I got the belts several weeks ago, and it turns out the parts guy pulled the wrong accessory belt from the rack. It was supposed to be a K060763, but I was given a K060703, which is several inches shorter. Quick trip to the parts house for a swap, and we're back in business. The car didn't fight me, for once, so I can only figure it'll wait until I'm on the freeway to spit one of the belts out. :o

Or the first time you pass the front of a Chevy dealership! :) The "SERVICE" signs have those unknown elements in them that function as an attractor....
