Anyone else use the Camaro console?

I was browsing Facebook when I came across Someones car fitted with a camaro ss center console. I didn't see any threads or pics anywhere online so I figured I would add them here.

I’ve wondered how well it would fit since before I got my 14 but wasn’t looking to take the $200-300 gamble. That looks awesome!

I messaged the guy and he said it was very easy to do.

I noticed he doesn’t have the e brake handle (which is ugly in the camaro). I’m curious how well it bolted to the floor and how easy the shifter was to install. Also would be nice to know the length to where he cut it.

Messaged him again. I don't want to bug him too much lol. He said you don't have to cut the console.

Well, bought a console off eBay. I’ll have to see how it goes. The shifter is probably the only part I’m unsure on.

So I can’t find if I’m missing something that mounts the camaro console (those guys don’t seem to ever remove theirs) but I can’t see where it could physically bolt to the floor. The console seems complete and don’t see anything in the exploded views on Gm parts direct. I’m waiting for a shifter still as that’s what will ultimately locate the console. I also removed the bracket for the parking brake for now, id like to keep the foot one so once I’ve got it installed with the shifter I’ll see if trimming the plate enough to get the parking cable stuff back in

Maybe asking someone in the Camaro forums would give you some ideas.
