I've been working with Paul for a boot spoiler and leather wheel. Depending on price, I'd probably add a shifter handle to that list, along with the lower grill. Yeah, the pile of parts is growing, and I've maybe put 10 miles on the car since parking it in our shop almost a month ago.

How did you mount the lights, are they aimable, and how are you controlling them?

And what did you use to black out the grill chrome. Looks mean!

There is also the option of buying a paint-to-match grill surround also. About the third of the price of the Chrome piece. But then you would have to prep and paint the piece.

I need to get the hell off this site, it's draining my bank account!

Are there any differences in where to mount this piece? From the pics it looks as though Bill mounted it in the fascia, and migs mounted it to the crash bar.

I don't know that we ever considered any mounting method other than mounting it to the fascia/bumper cover - not being critical of the other method, it does seem (to me) that having the lower grille mounted to the fascia would be better in a situation where there was a front impact that is repairable....if the fascia is pushed back, the grille moves with it. In the other, the lower grille is rigidly mounted to the bumper bar/impact insert, and if the fascia is pushed back, it might be more likely to shear the lower grille from it's mounting. Maybe I'm missing something.

As of today, I still haven't found any billet (or otherwise) grille suppliers offering anything for the lower air dam. You guys were way ahead of the curve on this killer fab.
