Installing New Siren
So I looked over every post regarding police equipment. Maybe I missed it, but I did not see it. I’m trying to find what harness I could tap into under the hood since I’ll be mounting it by the front grill and where to tap into that harness inside. The siren I’m looking to wire is this onehttps://a.co/d/0hfSmKCd Thanks for any help guys. I’ve asked questions before you guys have always been helpful and you’re the best.

Johnny,
Near the passenger side strut tower and fuse box there should be a flat four wire connector. I believe that it is blue/green/brown and gray? As an option there was another harness that connected to that and went across the front of the car to the space below the left headlight and behind the bumper support. Below the glove box there should be a 6 position, rectangular female plug for the siren, grill lights and wigwag circuits. Under our files section see the 2011 Caprice Technical Manual page 25 and 35.

Re: Installing New Siren
Is a 2013 gonna be the same as the 2011. I have the 2013 actual shop manuals but I know any of the sirens and stuff were not factory installed. Also, thanks for the response.

Johnny,
I looked at the 2013 Caprice Technical manual (also in our files section) and I can see on pages 17 and 23 the same information...
Regards,
Maurice
