2014 Caprice 98k Miles $15K DOD Delete and More Done

I’m helping my friend’s wife sell his car after he passed away last year. She isn’t a car person, so we don’t have some details on what was done to the car, but I’ll do my best to tell you what I know. The car came from the Carlsbad Police Department in California. If you look into that department, you’ll see that they usually don’t have much reason to drive like maniacs. The Carlsbad PD cars had all service done at a local Chevrolet dealer, which you’ll see if you pull a Carfax on it. My car is also from Carlsbad, and it has been an absolute dream. The car is currently near Lewisville, North Carolina, 27023. She has a clean NC title. Shipping of the car would be on the buyer. The car has 98k miles on it. The paint shows very well for a former police car. Only the doors were white while it was in service, so the rest of the car was factory black.

When Matt got the car, he replaced the front struts and top bearings. While he had the front end apart, he put lowering springs on it. He replaced the driveshaft (he tried to replace the center bearing and found out the hard way that you really can’t do that), both batteries, and had the windows tinted. Then he moved from California to North Carolina.

Matt put black powder-coated wheels and tires on it, Holden-ized the radio, and installed an SS cluster. Then he dug into the engine. He did a DOD delete with a stage 2 cam and a ZL1 converter. He bought all the parts for this from Brian Tooley Racing. A copy of this invoice will be attached. The tune was done by Chris Henry. I emailed Chris to see if he could tell me what all he did in the tune, but he never replied. Matt put headers and an exhaust system along with a Roto-fab CAI.

Matt low-speed rear-ended another car at some point. See the pictures for the damage. He bought another hood (The hood has minor bending of the rear corners from a fall while in his shop) and a headlight to repair the damage, but never installed those parts. They, along with a long list of other parts, come with the car. Briefly, they are: an SS center console with shifter, SS steering wheel, original cluster and two silver boxes, Nennopro console, and a new fuel pump with ring.
I’m trying to get better pictures of the interior. The attached video shows a flash of the interior. It’s been a well-taken care of car with little damage, considering it’s an old PD car.
