Hello from NJ

Post by gcas301 »

Hey everyone! I just recently purchased a 2014 6.0, was a Maryland state trooper car with a two tone look. Just joined to help with my build journey and learning how to properly care for it. If anyone could identify the green/brown color's factory paint name that would also be appreciated! :D

Gcas301,
Welcome to the group! Not a lot of bullying on the Forum here :) . We are a pretty civilized group with a lot of knowledge. I would imagine that the green/brown color was a department choice after they purchased the car. Could it be a wrap? Some departments opted for that.

Regards,

Maurice

Welcome. That thing sure looks different! I like it! How many miles/hours are on it? Don't worry about them being high, if they are. Other than the DOD troubles, these engines are crazy-durable.

Picked it up with 144K on it, 2800 idle. Hoping to make it last as long as I can I'm absolutely in love with the car. All I've done so far is threw a range technologies AFM disabler in it, I'll save the DOD delete for down the road when the budget allows for it.

If you plan on keeping it for years and you have some spare storage, you might what to look at grabbing some wrecked 14/17 parts cars. Parts are getting harder to find.
