Error p0522 low voltage engine oil pressure

Post by skialpentolic »

I got a new sensor and discovered the plug was loose and easily slid on and off the sensor. It failed to clip or securely fasten to the new part. I guess I need a new plug and slice it in? Anyone have this problem.

I also recently put a stage 1 BT cam and ported heads on.

Thanks

Does it still clip correctly to the old sensor? Could be the new sensor. I had that once on a new alternator where the connector wouldn't go in deep enough. Shaved a bit off the end of the connector on the alternator and it clicked. Could be a very small difference in length where the connector hits the bottom of the plug before it can click.

When I went to look at a replacement plug I noticed that the fastening mechanism was missing. Think I got it. Unfortunately I may have to slice.
