Looks like Fun!
So I’m almost ready to dive into this project
It has a light front end hit with no frame or suspension damage. It is a runner with a clear title. It has 896 original miles and from what I can tell it was used as a parts car after the wreck instead of being repaired. It came from San Jose California along with another car that I’ll be using for parts. So far the only downside that I see is that it is a V-6 car but with more research it looks like it will not be a problem to increase the horsepower but still keep the better fuel mileage. I will keep y’all in the loop as soon as I can get rolling on in the next couple months

I currently have 3 parts cars so it appears I will have everything I need. I’ve been purchasing cars that were involved in wrecks and then selling the drive train out of them to then end up with a cheap source of parts

Hmm, got any usable headlight and tail light modules out of those 'spare' cars? Just looking for backups as mine age.shawnjon82 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 1:08 pm I currently have 3 parts cars so it appears I will have everything I need. Re: Looks like Fun!
I’m sure I do but could you educate me or send me some pics on exactly what the module is and what it looks like
Re: Looks like Fun!
That is going to be an ambitious project. I stripped down a wrecked car and it is amazing how much work there is to stripping one down to the bare body. You will at least have a bunch of spare parts when you are done. You may want to drop the gas tank and see what shape the fuel pump is in. It obviously has been sitting for at least 5 years. I have not had much luck with cars that sit that long with gas in them.

Yes I’m definitely dropping the tank for sure it will be interesting to see how many of the parts from the V8 cars are compatible with the V6 cars. I’m going to need a radiator and have multiple ones out of the V-8 parts cars I have but I know they have different part numbers.
