It's Caprice season in NC again!

Post by elc32955 »

OK folks, State of NC is auctioning off 2014 & 2015 Caprices right now on their state website. Right now three 2014's and one 2015 are up for grabs. These are all V6 LFX cars, 2014's are vinyl floor & rear seat, 2015's are carpeted with full cloth interior. Miles are from 95k to under 110k. These are clean, fairly well taken care of cars used by their Department of Public Safety for admin & transport purposes, not regular road patrol cars. I bought a 2015 from them in 2021 and have been very pleased with it, put over 30K on my car so far. Bid prices start at $5k/car, these are excellent daily drivers. My car had a clean NC title with no police brand since it was just used for transport purposes.

Link to their state auction site is in the first post in the for-sale section. Good luck!

Thanks
Eric

Well, statistically the LFX cars are a lot rarer then the L77's. But, no one here is probably buying a car based on a spreadsheet, lol! However in this economy, the LFX is more fuel efficient and would be a good car IF you don't plan to show or AutoX it. And these cars usually all have very low idle & total hours, and break 300hp stock.

I saw there was at least one bid already on the 2015, not yet on the 14s. For resale alone they're all a decent deal at that pricepoint. As for any car sale, just takes the right person to come along.....
