Leather shift knob

Post by Pursuit »

Paul,
I am looking for a leather shift knob for my car, 2011 Caprice. Part number, price? Include it in the shipment of hood insulators?

Regards,
Maurice

Bill (Navy Lifer) has some information on the leather shifter, he accidentally sent it to me, lol. Hopefully he can chime in.

I think it was pointed out elsewhere that if you order the G8 shifter knob, you get more bits than you need, but don't exactly remember. There is a single part, P/N: 92191407 which is what I got. It was like $58 and shipping, but it's a 5-minute install.

Old thread but I'll chime in. If you want Holden OEM with the lion you can only use the leather wrapped front if you order the Holden shift knob, I got mine from EBAY down under and found that if you use the whole thing the trigger will not depress correctly to shift. If you just use the front and leave the Caprice back it's identical and all is good. No Pontiac harmed in the process :)
