A member sent me some Buick Park Avenue mirrors to try and decipher the wiring pinout and connector information. Will start by listing the connector information for the WM and SS. Then get into the differences of the Buick ones.
SS Pinout and connector diagram:
PPV Pinout and connector diagram:
As you can see the PPV uses many fewer wires but still has the same connector. I have determined there are about 4 extra wires on the SS mirror that are used for determining the position of it so the memory function can work properly. The PPV has none of those wires, just the minimum wires to move it.
Connector Information
Part numbers on the Pinout for the connector seem to be accurate (for a change).
These are the Yazaki YES 0.64 unsealed connector series - CATALOG PAGE
The Male is 7282-7696-40
The Female is 7283-7696-40
The Female with CPA (7283-7697-40) CPA stands for Connector Position Assurance. It is a (secondary) lock used on the housing lock (i.e. primary lock) that holds a male connector and a female connector (or a connector and an electrical device) together and guarantees complete mating. Not really need in this application but if you can only find the connectors with it on there they are OK to use.
Terminal Information
The one with Au are gold plated, not really needed. For our wires the 18-20 AWG ones would work good.
So good choices would be :
MALE 7114-4721-02
FEMALE 7116-4721-02
Connector / Terminals Availability
Connectors
Nexus - Male Minimum 25
Nexus - Female No Stock
Terminals
Nexus Electronics - Male Minimum 200
Nexus Electronics - Female Minimum 200
You can sometimes find pretty good copies of the connectors and terminals on Aliexpress or Alibaba in smaller quantities. Just search by the OEM part numbers.

Buick Park Avenue Mirror Connectors
Buick Park Avenue Mirror Connectors
The Buick Park Avenue Mirrirs came in 2 forms that we know of so far. Guess we could classify them as a Base Mirror and the HIgh End Mirror.
Base has: Adjustable Mirror - No memory Function, Integrated Turn Signal in cover
High End has: Adjustable Mirror with memory Function, Integrated Turn Signal in cover, Heated, Power Folding
Here is a picture of the High End connector compared to the SS/WN PPV mirror connector:
White - Park Avenue
Gray SS/PPV As you can see the Park Avenue connector is 14 cavity to the SS/PPV 12 cavity
This is the pinout for the Park Avenue Mirrors the best I can gather from testing: Connector Information
These also look to be Yazaki but this time the 1.0III(040III) series unsealed connector
