2012 Radio in a 2013?

Is it economically feasible to install a 2012 radio in 2013. Did a search on google and went thru 13 pages of posts and could not find anything. I have a 2012 radio from my parts car that I want to install in my 2013. Is it locked? Can I use use a Tech 2? Ship it somewhere for reprogramming?

It should be a plug and play installation EXCEPT for the VIN. You should be able to get someone to reprogram the 2013 VIN into the 2012 radio. I would email White Automotive and Media Service to see what they charge for the service.
