2014-2017 Paddle Shift Wheel Instructions

Post by bearcatfan78 » Tue Apr 20, 2021 7:42 pm

Something I've been wanting to do for a while now was share the installation instruction for installing a paddle wheel that I send out with my wiring kits.

I sell the premade kits for $30 shipped, with all parts required to install and a hard copy of the instructions below. Email me at williamatolbert@gmail.com FMI and purchase.

This is ONLY for 2014-2017 cars that want to add a 14-17 SS Sedan or 10-15 Camaro paddle shift wheel. Other wheels with paddles may work, but the SS and Camaro are the only ones that have been tested.

Wanna build your own? Parts and tools list is as follows.

Just to make a note on this. This approach is taking the paddle wheel inputs and putting them in the BCM spot that the shifter is supposed to use. If you are not installing an SS shifter that is fine.

If one plans to install an SS shifter can the Paddles and the shifter coexist using the same BCM spot? I suppose maybe they could if you have the on off switch. Or maybe just do not use the tap up tap down on the shifter??

Tony ever heard of anyone doubling up the paddles and the shifter into X2 Spot 11??

Does our airbag transfer over? For example would something like this work?

Are you still selling this kit?

I've tried email, but haven't got a response....

Thanks
