Empty Connector Identification

Post by redsled579 »

Snapped a few pics of connector ends if I could get help Identifying thier use

First is under passenger side package tray in the trunk. It has the corresponding end, just unterminated

Second is by passenger front strut tower with an end plugged in with just rubber plugs where terminal pins could be inserted

Third is white without anything attached in passenger kick panel

I'm not looking for somebody to do all the legwork If i could get me in the ballpark of what they are and I'll search wiring diagrams for it

Thanks in advance

I can answer the first two. The trunk connector is for the T53 option. It is for the two lights that flash when the trunk is open. This option has been around for awhile. GM had used it in the Impala's until 2016 and the B-Body Caprices. The second connector by the right front strut is the grill lights and speaker/siren option. On the home page of the Forum we do have the technical manuals available with the usual information: features, options, up-fitters and most of them do show the RPO codes and wiring diagrams.

Good luck,
Maurice
