Series one to series two conversion

Post by Logan g8 »

I have a series 2 iq headunit out of a 2012 Caprice ppv along with most of the hardware. I need too know how too splice the Caprice connector too the g8 series 1 harness. Either that or find an adapter harness.

There are adapter harnesses. Search Ebay AU because it is a very common job in those parts. See if I can find one:

Commonly called a "patch harness"

Expensive, but the few suppliers that offer it seem to be around the same price.

Normally I would offer to see if we could uild our on but this looks pretty complicated and the one part I found has a 400 min quantity.. SO may have to pite the bullet and pay the premium.
