I did pick-up a pair of Kenwood KCC-G1620's for the back doors... brand new, still in the box, for $5... he he he

Need to find a good set of component speakers for the front...

Sub box is designed.... just need to start building it...

Got another pair of those Kenwoods... installed them this morning... No more whizzers!!!

Sounds much better now!!! No more distortion at high volume levels, and sounds much cleaner... better bass, too!

bnsfBO,
Both Tom and I installed Kenwood speakers. They are 6 1/2" in diameter.

My front door speaker just blew. I'll be replacing my front speakers for now.

You should replace them all if you can... makes a difference, and not very expensive!

So are all the door speakers 6.5"? Has anyone looked at the center speaker to see if it's wired yet?

To run the center speaker, you will have to run wires, and add them to the quadlock connector...

Thanks,

Where.what is the quadlock? on back of radio itself? I'm not seeing any pics of radio removal still after searching.
