Seat Belt Replacement

Post by LimaCharlie »

My driver's side front seat belt is looking rough and I want to replace it. Unfortunately, the part number for a black belt (19301662) seems to be discontinued on many of the GM parts stores online.
Has anyone replaced their seat belts recently? Do you have a better part number or an alternative?

IIRC, there is a recall on the front seatbelts on some years. My 2012 was in that recall. You may want to search and see if the 2014 is included. It seems the cops would sit on them and weaken the cable some, causing failures. Can't hurt to look.
