SS steering wheel

Post by A613 »

Just installed a chevy SS steering wheel on my 2014 caprice.

Leather feels and looks much better than the factory’s rubble. Plus, the flat bottom! Looks so good and gives more space for the legs.

Got the one with the shift paddles. They are useless but still looks good. Specially with the red shifter extension I ordered, hopefully arrives soon so I can show a picture with them.

Easy install at home, all connectors are the same. Just plug and drive!

Thanks for reading.

I like mine a lot. I swapped the left side buttons though since dead buttons drive me insane.

I thought about putting the old buttons, but empty ones drives me crazy. Plus, the texture of the new ones feels better.

It can be wired up to function if you install a switch and wire to send power to the BCM and have a tuner enable TUTD in the transmission programming.

You're talking about the paddle shifts right? Could you share more information about the switch and wires please?

Very interested on making my paddles work for real! For how long you had your paddles working? faced any issues?

Much appreciated!
