weathertech?

Post by xcidmigs »

Has any one found a good fit from the weathertech floor liner line? They do not list the PPV still on their applications despite having emailed their CS last year. I just received a set of front liners which are for a 2014 SS sedan thinking it would be closest. On the driver side its way off, pics to follow in day light...

G8 would be closer--front foot well is basically the same as WM PPV.

We have inquired (probably more than once) to see if MacNeil was considering or interested in doing anything for the Caprice--the response was crickets, as I recall.

Would they fit in a 2014 and newer Caprice or is there something else different. Would they work in a car with rubber flooring or only carpet?

I actually called weathertech about mats and was informed that they do not recommend mats for rubber floor cars.

Thats a total dick answer from weathertech considering that the 9c3 has carpet from factory. I just received the g8 version front liners and confirm also they fit 100% fine. Just need a better rear seat solution now. Thanks for the suggestions to all who replied.

I bought the Weathertech cargo mat (trunk) using the 2014 SS part number. The fit was so bad, I spent $20 return shipping to get a refund. There is no PPV part number.

Can someone clarify what year Pontiac G8 mats to order for a 2011 9C3? I see on their site they only have the "universal trim to fit" for the 2010 G8, but for 2009 they have the laser measured mats. Thanks.

If you want the ones that are designed to fit, get the laser ones for the 2009. These are the good ones with the sides. The other ones look like cheap universals. I got the 09 laser ones and they fit my 2011 9C3 fine. It kind of pulls away from the tunnel where your right foot goes, but I think a little 3M Dual Lock should fix that.
