I have an opportunity to purchase a set of BBS wheels for my Caprice but the only specs I have on them from the owner are; staggered 18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear, 5x120 bolt pattern. These wheels are on a BMW and come with tires (225/40's front 255/35's rear) for $450.
No offset specs, anyone have concerns or caveats I should be aware of?
Thanks
On Edit: I forgot to ask, I am currently running Continental 245/50's front and rear, any concerns with this size on a 18x9.5 wheel? Rim width specs for the Continentals is 7 - 8.5. I have used narrower rims with wider tires on my truck and no issues, not sure about going the other way.

Re: Need some guidance - BBS Wheels for my 2013
I once had a set of 19" BMW knockoff wheels and the only problem I had was that when I did my Brembo brake conversion, the wheel spokes hit the calipers necessitating spacers. Not ideal so I went to a set of 20" staggered Camaros.
Check for possible interference with the brake caliper.

Re: Need some guidance - BBS Wheels for my 2013
Thanks for the reply! At this point Brembo's are not in my near future so I am just trying to replace my stock steel wheels. My current tires have less than 3000 miles on them (245/50/18's) so I won't be going wider for some time. With that said, a 7.5 to 8.5 wheel width will work, just wasn't sure about a 245 on a 9.5" wheel...seems like a stretch, pun intended.
I have been scouring the "Wheels/Tires" forum to find all the specs for our stock wheels, it would be really nice if there was a sticky with this info and then a spreadsheet with "suggested" alternate wheel (not tire) sizes.
As I look for alternate wheels to my steelies, I find that bolt pattern size and hub size are the tricky parameters, followed by offset. I wish I was a guru on this subject but alas at this point I am a rookie.
Stock Steel Wheel:
Wheel diameter - 18"
Rim width - 8"
Bolt pattern size - 5x120mm
Stud size - 14mm
Hub bore size - 67.1mm ??
Offset range:
Front - ???
Rear - ???
Thanks again.

Re: Need some guidance - BBS Wheels for my 2013
Are they stock bmw wheels that happen to be bbs?
If so, hubcaphaven.com might have the specs.

Fandango, it doesn't say in the add they are from a BMW but if I had to guess I would say yes - they look like the wheels I have seen on BMW's. I will check that website. Thanks!
Since my original post I have found some Camaro take-offs the 5-spoke version (2019) and newer camaro version that have 10 "wavy" spoke (?) look. But I think they are only 7" wide which is ok but may limit my options to go wider when current tires wear out.
