Weld Wheel Fitment

Post by DublinSpeed »

Hello, I've read through the forum, only a few owners have done weld wheels. I'm conflicted on offset/ back spacing for fronts. I'm a 2011 PPV 9C1 and looking to go with weld S71 on the front in a 20x7. I've been on the phone with weld and the size they recommend seems it would stick out. #71HB0070N43A would be a 20x 7 +8mm offset with 4.3" back spacing. All the front wheels i see guys swapping from camaros etc are at least a +38 or more offset to bring the wheel further in to clear the fender, but i know width of the rim has something to do with offset. I dont want to drop 1500 bucks on a pair of rims and tires without using all my resources to be sure they will not stick out or hit anything. Thanks!

I can’t speak specifically to welds but here’s a nice site with visuals that you can compare wheel offsets/sizes. https://www.willtheyfit.com/

Could at least compare stock or camaro wheels to what weld is suggesting.
