I will most likely be getting my hands on a built LSX block- 427 W/TF245 heads.
Anyways my concern is the Added weight on the stock shocks and springs.
What did you guys upgrade to (suspension wise) when you went to the heavier iron blocks?

Have not done it on the PPV but did it in my 85 mustang, when from a stock ls6 to an iron 408.

I did not change a thing it was only like a 40lb difference, if you are still on the stock ppv springs they are already rated for extra weight due to all the cop stuff so would not worry.

You'll be fine. Don't worry about it. The factory ride height is way too high anyway. People add LSAs, turbos, and centrifugal superchargers all the time and it's never a problem.

As Kevin said, don’t worry about it. Considering there is probably 20 lbs of siren speakers and 50 lbs of push bar that are no longer hanging in front of the axle, the extra block weight behind the axle should not matter.
