My front caliper guide pins are stuck and I finally got them out.
I'm swapping out with new OEM pins, and notice that there are two different types of pins per side.
My front right and front left each had different configurations.
One of the pins is solid, the other has an indent for a rubber piece near bottom.
Which one is meant to be on top?
Thanks much in advance!

Re: Caliper Guide Pins
so you didn't pay attention during disassembly?
My past experience on this was the top position has the rubber tipped pin....but your best source is to get the SI (service information) or equivalent - ALLDATA, etc - a cooperative dealer, or someone here with access to the info, should be able to help.
By this lookup illustration, top position gets the rubber sleeve

Boots are separate....

Re: Caliper Guide Pins
For a 13 PPV service manual says:
Note:The lower brake caliper guide pin is equipped with a bushing.
Not a very good diagram of what they mean by bushing though??
