I called GM Parts Direct and asked about this kit, and the guy on the phone said the P/N was discontinued, with no update, and they have zero kits in stock and are finding no inventory.
The list of calipers for 2016-2019 'Camaros' is dizzying, and is all over the place for prices. Does anyone know the P/N for just the calipers that replace those in this kit?
Gene, the 5th post in this thread spells out what PN's work. The Camaro PN's are listed in the G8 Forum link, but prices are higher for the Chevy logo calipers.
Thanks, Bill. I think I finally figured it all out and have a pair of calipers on their way. I ordered one via Amazon, but the other was actually cheaper from GMPartsDirect, by nearly $100. I figured new ones are better than the used CTS-V calipers I have that will require cleaning and swapping the crossover tube and bleeder screws over.
Primary reason for the swap is the reduction in unsprung weight. Hopefully the pedal feel will be nice, too. We'll see.
EDIT: Update - the Caliper I ordered via Amazon is already here. It's pretty!

The other caliper also hit the door. That order included a replacement set of bolts. Now on to the hoses. Goodridge, or Techna-fit, Goodridge, or Techna-fit? Decisions, decisions.....

I did apply new blue loctite as well and torqued to 30ft lbs and then some.
The torque spec on these bolts is 30 lb-ft + (plus) 90 degrees additional bolt rotation.
Put a mark on the knuckle and bolt head 90 degrees apart so that tightening moves the mark on the bolt head toward the mark on the knuckle--depending on access & tools, using an impact tool may be necessary/best way to reach the prescribed torque.

Gene, I have a Techna-Fit 4500 kit available, with brackets, already modified, $120 delivered--I only ask that you send me the removed front brackets (cut off the hoses).

Bill, you don't happen to have one more set available, do you? I was thinking about ordering a set of the black brembos.
Sorry I just saw this.....I don't get notifications, not sure this Forum even offers the feature (and I'm considered "admin staff")!?!
I do have a hose kit, or you can order direct from Techna-Fit. It just depends on whether you want to modify the brackets yourself, or have me send some already modified.
