There are YouTube videos where the popular brands are cut open. After watching these videos, I don't do anything but Wix. There are a few others that are seemingly close in quality (don't recall which) but Wix is obviously top tier.
Exactly how much better filters matter.. I think they are but I don't really know. ..I am willing to spend a few extra bucks in case it is important but I've never blown up an engine using a Fram (I've run a lot of Fram oil filters previously). Any filter is probably going to grab most larger particulates (~20 microns and greater).
I'm not making recommendations - just sharing my personal methods. If I told you I changed my oil at half the recommended interval, I might catch some ire of those with environmental concerns (so I won't).

Go with that one. Correct me if im wrong but every 6.0 i ran across come with oil coolers. Then again that 2014+

I use the Fram XG10060 Ultra Synthetic. It's a quality build, metal en caps, metal screen backing and I saw an actual filtration test of the media where it filtered out particles the best. I can't find that test anymore, the site must have gone offline. They practically did all of the filter brands and models at the time.

The Wix XP is also a very good filter but their quality has gone down a bit with using a leaf spring and not a metal screen backing, now plastic. In my mind, I don't think that leaf vs. coil spring makes a whole lt of difference. It's my second go-to filter when the Fram XG isn't available.

And I put magnets on the outside of the can to trap metal particles. I use these and they are very effective.

1. I don't know if there's any equivalent choice to the Mobil 1 extended, that might allow more oil flow through the filter media.
