Post by Turbopowered68 »

The love / hate is tilting towards hate as the bugs continue to kick my ass in this fng car.
Day before car was running perfect.

i pull out the HP tuners and just happen to log the moment the ecm lost rpm signal.
Please help me out with this.

Like the code reads, I would check camshaft and crankshaft sensors.

Those symptoms can be presented when either one is failing or bad signal. I had those exact symptoms when the camshaft sensor wire rubbed raw against my belt after my OTR CAI install. I had to isolate the wires and electrical tape it, then it went away.

It's not uncommon for the crankshaft sensors to go on these motors either. I'd investigate the wiring and sensors and their resistance if you could.

Definitely investigate crankshaft though.

Replaced crank shaft sensor and pig tail and it's running better than ever.
but now out of no where I get "Low Battery" at start up and the charging is in the 14ns to low 13ns it was high 14 to low 15.

That's unfortunate but I'm glad it's running good!
