Re: New Member waiting impatiently

Yes, it can be, but when my wife asks me 'what do you want for <insert favorite gift-giving day here>?', I can just print out the spreadsheet and say 'Here, surprise me!'

It works wonderfully, and I still have the part numbers picked out when I am in a spot to order some mods.

Yeah, storage is at a premium on these cars. I'll probably move to a 9C3 console down the road, but for now, am working on fixing what's broken and pricing performance upgrades.

Wow, you got the service console included in your car?? Nice! The 9C3 Caprice console also fits, but it, too, isn't cheap.

Re: 9C1 Shifter console removal: Help Needed

The FSM steps to remove the console include removing two nuts and a bolt that secure the e-brake cable, from under the car. It doesn't mention if those nuts and bolts secure anything else, but that's like the first step after pulling the panels off. I'm guessing there's some bracket that's part of t...

Re: New Member waiting impatiently

Slowly, slowly. I ordered several interior pieces to replace those with holes/breaks, as well as the driver's side door seal and the leather replacement shifter knob piece. They had to special order something, so I'm still waiting for those parts. I did get the ticket light installed, finally, so we...

Re: 'Ticket' light? Where to find one

I finally got time in the shop, and got the light bulbs in the dome lights replaced (LEDs) and got the ticket light installed. I ended up splicing into the power and ground for the dome light. Works great, as do the front and back dome lights! :D

I plan to, too. Probably not a SC, but there WILL be some work under the hood.
