Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module

Hey Steve, I made some progress. Using the following 12V source, my wigs wag. However, unlike other people's issue ONLY the rear. My front ones do not turn on, and the headlights do nothing when the wire is connected (LED headlights btw). Any idea about how to get the front working? I'm afraid I mig...

Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module

The Kerr harness is a crap ton of wires all zip tied around the connector with a small few (the ones for grille siren, siren, flashers etc) making their way out to be wired. Harness is the one with the cut orange wire in the blurry picture. I can definitely tap some of those wires to see if they hav...

Re: Is there any cheap way to get aux in or bluetooth suppor

It was worth it to pay the 250 and have chris white enable USB and aux on the oem radio. I feel like im driving a car from this century now lol I got the usb/aux cable from steve walker above. adding the aux requires adding some wires to the harness but overall isnt bad. I second this. The dealer w...

Re: Deep Pan Transmission Modification

After my drainage I added a half quart and that brought me to about 80% on the Lokar dipstick, then I added another half quart and I'm over the full lol. Oh well, if everyone else has been overfilling I'll be fine. I also haven't seem my temp rise above 50C, could be the colder weather, but that 62C...

Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module

Sm, any final wisdom or tips? I'm almost about to button all my panels back up and call it a loss. There's still a wire in the trunk on the passenger side running into the cab, and nothing back there seems disconnected. But you would think at least the front OR rear would work. I just can't help but...

Re: Deep Pan Transmission Modification

sounds like I'm low on fluid sir I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have drained any reading Moose's link. 6 qts from empty should have been fine, problem is I have no way of telling what all spilled on the shop floor but it was around a full quart. Just like the link says though, I guess in this case ...

I've always checked it running, I thought that was kind of implied. Maybe not for the sump plug but for the dipstick.

Re: Deep Pan Transmission Modification

Curious what does your dipstick say now? Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to check it until a few minutes ago, with the sump temp at 62C I checked it on a weighing scale at work (assuming pretty level) and dipstick read low. Definitely need to add more fluid. I had noticed it was a little off s...

Re: Deep Pan Transmission Modification

Well I followed the instructions and I'd estimate about a half qt- 1qt gushed out. Then when it slowed I put the plug back in. I did it on level concrete with nothing under the car. When I did the install I had the front of the car on ramps, maybe that's what's causing my issues. I pulled the plug w...
