Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module
That 4 wire connector you pictured there we can generally call the "Pass Through" Harness It is part of the upfitters harness but has nothing to do with the wig wags. The harness you are after (if they did not remove it all together) should be back behind the glove box or generally bound ...

Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module.
the one on ebay will work fine. You will just unplug the headlight harness up by the fuse box and plug that module in line with the headlight harness. Then the activation wires should be the green and red wire inside on your up fitters harness. Just give that 12 volts with a switch and you be wig w...

Re: Kerr Equipment - Googled and couldn't find it.
THink that is your Wig Wag module. You find it under the hood by the headlight? They cut the wires off right at it, when you could have just unplugged it. All your lights working OK? Looks to be a Soundoff Signal Product relabled by Kerr: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SOUNDOFF-SIGNAL-CHEVROLET-CAPRICE-PO...

Kerr/Soundoff Signal Module - Stock Wigwag Issue [Solved]
The only way I can describe this is a ballast or relay of some sort perhaps. Anyway, what is it?

Re: V8 Caprice
Not sure if this is within 200 miles of you but Cheyka Motors in Schofield, WI just got in three State Trooper Caprices. Chris Ashby called me just after we bought our 2012. He's a real car guy and my next one will come from him. http://www.cheykamotors.net/inventory.aspx?md=Caprice&cursort=asc...

Re: price thoughts for a silver 2011 caprice
I don't consider it a pot of gold, I'm just asking what its worth. If its only worth 1500-2k as a roller/junk motor it may be worth it to part it. when I bought it I intended to be able to drive it for more than a week. Just trying to limit my losses is all. Myself personally, and I think others wi...

Re: LED Bulbs
As I expected, the error free W21's did not blow the fuse or melt. However even though they are advertised as "error-free" they are not for our Caprices. They did cause hyperflash. I contacted Partsam about the issue, and we are working on it. I will wire in resistors if I have to, however...

Re: FS Holden grille with emblem...
I already emailed CP, and I see the Holden Lion conversion kit on HoldenPartsUSA, but I am also looking for a Holden Lion Grille (preferably all black with chrome lion) and rear trunk badge as well. No offense to the guys at HPU but $325 seems a little steep. I will pay it if I must however.

Yes is a bit under priced, makes me wonder why. All the things you listed seem like small items to take care of: Valve cover gaskets, AC recharge, Harmonic Balancer (vibration at idle) Then again might be the deal of the year! I have seen worse go for much more. Your call. Check it's history for an...

Re: Oil Change?
Why did GM create the dexos specifications? Vehicle manufacturers are creating increasingly complex engines as they work to meet stricter emissions regulations and increased fuel economy standards. GM enacted its dexos specifications to create a global standard for its vehicles; so, the oil specifi...
