Re: Factory Radio Options for 2011-2013 Caprice PPV
If I were to install say a 4 channel amp, and deck speakers, and run them all off, could I tap and splice the speaker power wires for signal or would I need the RCA jacks? And would anyone be willing to build me or sell me a pair of those jacks is my next question. Maybe not the right thread but I t...

Re: Small transmission fluid leak, next to starter, CV axle
That's very odd? Must have made a nice seal on it for no air to follow the fluid in. Haha. Thanks for the help will update if I have any more problems.

Re: Small transmission fluid leak, next to starter, CV axle
maybe someone spilled it , and it was puddled up tell you lifted it with the jack ? though not sure what it woulda been puddle up on , and not dripped or emptied out while driving This is actually a plausible theory although, as it smelled exactly of the Amsoil I put in when I changed the pan and f...

Small transmission fluid leak, next to starter, CV axle
Anyone have any experience with this? Possible that it's because the tranny is slightly overfilled? No leaks anywhere else.

Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module
Hey, FH, Go to the New Caprice home page and look under files. Find the 2013 General Motors Caprice only technical manual. Page 22 has a better description and the warning regarding the 12v to the BCM. Regards, Maurice Big thanks to Steve and Maurice! Anyhow I found the missing link. When I added t...

Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module
Be careful, I have read somewhere that if you supply 12v to the Blue/Yellow wire it will harm the BCM. That wire is designed as a ground activation for the BCM to alternately flash the reverse and brake/turn signal lights. I am away from my reference materials. Regards, Maurice Thanks I will heed y...

Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module
I am not sure about that. I think there is a warning in the manual though not to hook 12 volt power to the Blue/red wire as that would damage the BCM. And to makes things more confusing in the diagram it's called a blue/yellow wire but in the text they refer to a blue/red ??? So not sure there eith...

Re: Kerr Equipment - Wigwag Module
Good, half way there. So there is another provision to have the fronts flash separately from the rear. There is a wire that gets split so the police switch can control them separately. Looking at the technical manual you will want to inspect the dark blue/red wire up at the underhood module. I am n...

Re: DOD Delete + LS9 Cam
Melling 10295 oil pump Sled, not to rain on your parade but doing my research as a future cam swapper, you might have traded your stock DOD pump for one with less pressure. For non-AFM vehicles, that pump offers a 10% pressure increase. (I installed this one in my 4.8L Silverado). Melling 10296 off...
