Re: Finally Decided (intake)

It was easier to buy the air raid attachment? It almost looks like you could have bolted it to the spectre tube. Sorry that was on last page didn't realize thread progressed.

Re: Finally Decided (intake)

Speaking of that and TBs would this one from MSD work? I know we have that gear cover/don't know technical term on the side for the gears but I'm just curious if this is a potential mod. https://www.msdperformance.com/products/fuel_systems/atomic_efi/throttle_bodies/parts/2940" onclick="wi...

Re: Finally Decided (intake)

Some of that noise etc will be dramatically eliminated by the use of interior sound dampening products. I have no idea why the threads on exhaust etc go on for pages while very few guys do sound reduction projects and no one seems to care. My car is extremely quiet now with just the floor and doors...

Re: Factory Radio Options for 2011-2013 Caprice PPV

We could in theory setup the radio for an AMP just like they do in oz from the factory... I have to look into this a bit more. Chris in theory would my not so clean idea of tapping the output wires (+s) and using them for the signal for the amp work? The signal wire is always a very small gauge and...

That would be absolutely wonderful! Not many options for aftermarket without heavy modification, so this would be great. Appreciate your work Chris.

Re: Factory Radio Options for 2011-2013 Caprice PPV

Easy enough, higher quality RCA jacks can be spliced into as well to make it a "hybrid" per say. Have done it to operate subs on a 400w Pioneer home stereo system. Thanks for the explanation. RCAs would be cleaner but could definitely be bypassed simply by splicing into RCA ends. I'll ask ...

Re: Factory Radio Options for 2011-2013 Caprice PPV

RCA jacks implies line level outputs. I'm sure it can be done, but so far, nobody has figured out how to tap into the line level signal of these radios. I'm willing to look into it if anyone has a schematic of the radio. For sure but can't you get the L/R signal by tapping the speaker +s and use th...
