Re: Spongy Pedal after Brembo update

Try bleeding them once or twice in the order I posted. Trust me. I had to bleed multiple times to get the firmness close to stock.

Re: Spongy Pedal after Brembo update

LOL yeah that was me installed them upside down. I initially had the spongy pedal issues, but I just had to keep bleeding them. I also ran the abs purge valve function but it did not tighten up the pedal. If I recall correctly, I bled from right rear, left rear, right outboard, left inboard, right i...

Re: Steering rack clamp bolts

Yes those are the correct bolts. I just find it odd the pass side bolts almost bottom out when they're tight and the driver side seem like a 1/4 inch or more and are way up in the channel despite being tight. That's why I'm questioning that they're different lengths. And mine are way tighter than 37...

Steering rack clamp bolts

Hoping someone can find me a PN # or maybe some information on the 4 rack bolts that hold the edge of the rack on the car. These are the E18 e-torx head bolts. I seem to be having an issue where the driver side bolts are not bottoming out on the frame (in the threaded channel). The passenger side ho...

Re: Throttle bodies

I bought the Volant throttle spacer.

Cheap and easy upgrade imo. And it works with my VCM OTR intake.

Re: ABS and Stabilitrak faults

Get it code read. Could be a wheel speed sensor or just might need a brake position relearn done with a Tech2.

I would suggest you get a good code reader/programmer. The cheapest one with Tech2 functionality is the VXdiag.

Re: 3.45 Differential install

Maybe I'm just stupid, but even though they are dimensionally the same, isn't it possible for the flex plate/coupler to be weighted or balanced differently?

Again the Camaro one looked just like the Caprice one, but caused a lot of vibration for me.

Re: 3.45 Differential install

On my 3.27 install in which I also did a lot of rear end work, I noticed a lot of vibration with the Camaro coupler, outside of normal alignment issues.

Upon putting the Caprice coupler back in, I noticed much less vibration.

Re: LED Spot lights ?

+1 on the 36 dollar Amazon light. Got that on my squad.

Brighter than 100w halogen and fits perfect. Only minor grinding on positive tab to fit the spade connector perfectly. Great upgrade.

Re: What happens when it tops out?

If it was ordered with the limiter on it, it's limited to 130mph. Per the sales brochure.

Stock GM tune file shows top speed as 158mph on a car without the speed limiter.

That's what my 2013 was when I first opened it in HPtuners.

Unsure of redline limits. Just know the top speed limits.
