Actually rereading this and seeing the diagram I do not think it matters that there is a space on the bottom. If that rack bolts are tight it's fine, drive on. Being flush is not a requirement??

If you happen to have your car side 4 cavity plug hacked out by some gung ho police decontenter the part number for that connector seems to be Molex 39012045


The same terminals mentioned above will work with it.
