2012 L77 9C1 for sale in New Hampshire
So my wife and I agree to disagree that we do not like each other's summer toys. Her Cadillac CTS is nice, and luxurious, but lacks power. My Caprice has power, but lacks luxury. So since we had a G8 GT in the past, we decided to get another and keep us both content. With that said I am selling my 2...

Re: rear windows don't work
Bringing this one back from the dead. Both back windows do not operate from any switch. I checked the white plug with blue wire under the passenger front seat, and it was either never unplugged from the real plug, or the previous owner plugged it back in. The false plug was still taped to the wire h...

Re: Balancer question/help
Well after a short time yesterday I have two problems. Idler pulley was bad. I replaced that, and some of the noise went away. But with it fixed, I was able to narrow the whine (That starts about 4-5 seconds after the car is started) to the PS pump. I ordered a new AC Delco unit with a new pulley as...

Re: Balancer question/help
So I have never in my 55 years heard a idler pulley make the noise this one is doing, but that is where the noise is coming from. I have a new one on order. Thanks for all the answers.

Re: 2012 9C1 L77 Project Car #24
Looks good! What’d you spend on paint and body? How many holes did you have filled? The previous owner filled the 2 holes, and painted the doors, trunk, and roof horribly. One on the trunk was well done, but the hole on the roof needed re-work. I know a guy, so it was $1400. The hood, and front bum...

Re: 2012 9C1 L77 Project Car #24
Just got it back from the body shop. The only thing not painted was the hood, and front bumper. Emblems, and hubcaps on. Looking better every day. Even got a Impala bowtie to help with the stealth appearance I am going for. And it was cheaper than the Caprice bowtie.

Driver's door electric gremlins
My 2012 9c1 seems to have electrical issues in the drivers door. The power lock on the drivers door is the only one that does not work, the car assumes the door is always open as the door light on the dash stays illuminated, the interior light will not come on if I open that door.. The drivers door ...

Re: Balancer question/help
Red thread locker in the crank shaft, yikes. I've always used the ARP brand bolt kit for ease of installation . Like Stoner says, check belt alignment and bearings. I usually replace pullies, idler, and belt as preventative maintenance just because I'm already there. Sometimes I can troubleshoot ba...
