I think they look nice. Some SS springs would do the ride height wonders!

Re: BC Racing Coilovers Install

Yes, very. I was concerned that two of them were replaced by BC when the PO owned them (one pair was essentially new and unused when I got them), but they're been good so far. The ride may be a bit harsh for some, but my co-driver and I prefer a firmer ride. The car also handles well when we autocro...

Re: Hello!

Welcome! Is your Caprice your service vehicle, or your private vehicle. 9C1s in service are starting to get rare. I did see one with the Conroe, TX PD a couple of weeks ago. I wonder what he thought when he rolled by my all black '12?

Re: BC Racing Coilovers Install

I think I used a 1" hole saw, after locating the place for the hole by marking the underside of the trunk and drilling a pilot hole from the underside. I just missed the right spot on both sides, so had to use my die grinder to extend the hole on one side to clearance the adjuster mount: https://med...

Re: New Shopper - Any Experience with the dealers listed in the Classified?

And we've purchased two vehicles from Copcars Online. One was our '10 Tahoe PPV, and the other was our '12 9C1. They even arranged to have both vehicles shipped from FL to TX. They've been great vehicles, so far. I'd call them again if I had need.

Thanks for the reminder. Most of my work team live in Colorado and play with 4X4's. I passed the info along.

Re: Hello from New Orleans!

Welcome! As cerbomark says; take your time. Look for a car from the southern states, since the northern cars will have rust from salt in really odd places. We got our '12 from Cop Cars Online. It was a former Wisconsin highway patrol car. It's been a great car so far, but we've had to deal with the ...

Re: Canuck Caprice

Looks like you have the brother of the feral cat that lives in our shop!! I recognize those cuts!! Sure would be nice if the manufacturers would spend 0.05 seconds running a bit of sandpaper over the edges of the heat shields before they put them on the vehicle. But I guess that would double...

Re: Canuck Caprice

Shame the exhaust installer didn't check that clearance to the steering linkage and fix it while everything was still out! :| The interior update looks quite nice! I've done bucket seat covers exactly once, and I'll never do them again. I'll pay all the money they want to do that work! I'm good with...

Re: What did you do to your Caprice today?

Finally drove her home from the exhaust shop just now. ONLY took him a total of 12 hours over 4 days and I'm $1300 poorer for it :( Was it worth it? Hell yeah! She ran surprisingly well for not having any O2 sensors hooked up. No O2 sensors connected? How did it run at all? One woul have ...
