Re: LS3 Tremec 6 speed and 1LE diff
my cam only G8 made over 450 , and my friends cam only LS2's made between 410-420 the compression ratios in the L76/77 is 10.4 , LS3 10.7 , LS6 10.5 and LS2 10.9 , so other than bore and having a very conservative cam , the L76/77 isnt that far off from the LS3 people have put LS3 cams into their L...

Re: Another 3.45 thread...
 Auto correct turn diff into dirt, sorry lol. I've had cars with aggressive gearing I mean my Trailblazer SS is 4.11 on 28" tires. My Procharged Silverado was 4.11 but since it's build changed I'm doing the 4.11s in my LQ9 243 head Fast LSXRT intake Stage 3 BTR cam Yukon. I'm curious how t...

Re: New member, hood cowl
Has anyone been able to graft in the 5th or 6th gen ZL1 scoop on the hood? I really like the 5th gen vented style duct but I don't know in the pictures it looks a little narrow and small. Does it look like that in person as well? Are there any other possible style hoods? The G8 nostrils look awesome...

Re: Another 3.45 thread...
What about getting the 1LE rear diff with it's 3.91 dirt? Has anyone tried those? With the factory running gear or a LS3 and Tremec 6 speed. I'm really wanting a PPV to swap a LS3 and Tremec 6 speed with a 1LE diff.

Re: LS3 Tremec 6 speed and 1LE diff
If your friend has a cam swapped LS2 that makes 420whp something is wrong. My Trailblazer when it was just a bolt on truck made 350 at the wheel through a 3600 stall, 14 bolt rear end 4.10 gears and sticky drag radials.

Re: LS3 Tremec 6 speed and 1LE diff
a .030 bored 6.0 is half way to the 6.2 bore , being he had the bottom end let go , im guessing some of his problems started there a cam only L77 can make north of 450 , and most cam only LS2's made 410-425 LS6 and LS2 heads are the same , the early 5.3 heads had smaller ports and smaller combustio...

Re: LS3 Tremec 6 speed and 1LE diff
The motor let go because of an oil issue. He and I used the Corvette because the LS2 in the Trailblazer sucks. On the 376 B-8 had the Corvette install. The LS2 ran fine the bearings lost oil distribution for some reason. A LS2 makes 395hp in a Trailblazer and 400hp in cars. So putting a cam in a LS2...
