O2 wire harness repair

Are you repairing the O2 harness side or the ECM harness side? OEM procedures only mention not repairing the O2 harness side. It sucks that the harness coating shrunk like that.
I'd do the pig tail before I disassembled that connector to do a terminal repair. If you do a terminal repair you're either going to have to shorten the harness, and it's already a tight fit in there, or add a length of wire. If you add wire then you'll have a terminal repair and a wire repair....twice as many spots for something to go wrong.
I sympathize with you having to pull that harness out like that, but it's gotta be fixed.

Yeah Thanks Joe. It would of been nearly impossible to fix especially that O2 connector behind the motor, so it just made sense to pull it out this far. So now I'm just trying to find a pretty good harness from an LS swap someone isn't needing so I can harvest the connectors and some pigtails to repair mine.
It's good I have more time than money lol
