g8 shifter knob, stock shifter?

does the 08/09 g8 shifter knob fit on the stock 2011 PPV floor shifter? the g8 one looks tailer which would be perfect. but is it a direct replacement, or for console swaps only?

while im here, does anyone have cheap ish leather wheel swap? ALOT of posts here were made years ago. so 'just buy one from GM' doesn't fly anymore..

The shifter will swap. They're the same.

For a steering wheel, only one I know of is the G8 wheel. There's also parts from the Veritas that should fit but might be expensive for shipping:

I'm running the G8 shifter in my '12.

There's a chrome extension on the Pontiac part you need to pop off, but otherwise it's perfect.

If you ever decide you want to run the Holden shifter knob, the front only will swap onto the Caprice shifter. The rear you'll have to keep from the Caprice shifter but it's completely transparent to the Lion you'll gain on the front side.

I still have the rear from the Holden shift knob on the shelf when I did my 2011 conversion.

Check Ebay.au for a steering wheel. I found mine for about $200 shipped to U.S.
