What tape did you use? Looks good in black! 8-) Thanks.

I figured if they were cheap enough, I'd get a pair, and take them and the spoiler to my painter at the same time, then swap things out when I got them back. They were $15 each side, so a pair are on their way.
Great idea! I'm on the fence about getting a pair of Whelen Sidekicks in amber. If so I may them in for paint as well.
Yeah, when I visited the guy who does pretty much all of my paint and body work with the car for the first time, his second comment after 'Cool!' was that he'd paint those fender pieces. The more I look at the car, the more I agree. Hoping my parts get here today or tomorrow so I can take them to my painter this weekend.

Good to know. I have 3M left over from my spoiler install on the 96 SS.

Gene, just to let you know, I also tried 3M, and it released soon after being exposed to Texas summer heat. I don't know what brand it was, but the tape my boat guy used, is the only one that has held up. You might have better luck with 3M than I did. 8-)

There's a dark grey 3M tape that I used on an old E-pass that was amazing. It survived the FL heat so well that when I scrapped the car I had to cut a hole in the bumper to get the e-pass off the car.

I ordered a spoiler from Karo. Just wanted to say thanks to him for offering them for sale and for shipping so quickly.

He says 3M gray. Clean everything with alcohol first. Then press the tape to the part. Let it set for a couple of hours, then press on it again. Then, set it in place and press it down. I still have to drill holes.

Probably be getting windows tinted this weekend instead. The car is the Rodney Dangerfield of Caprices without it. Had a guy on a bike slowly approach me the other day. He looked over, saw I was a civi, then sped off. The finger flip was implied. I get no respect. :D
