Up front on the passenger side up fitting harness coil, just find a green and red wire. Connect it to a positive and the flights will flash. I just need to hook it up to my Whelen toggle switch and tap into a 12v.
Okay, so EXACTLY where is this 'green and red' wire? What size is it? Where is it? I found a small (about 18 ga.) red and green wire in the up-fitter harness in the passenger side kick panel. I connected that to 12v, and.....

nothing.

even with the car running, and the lights turned on. What am I missing? The flasher relay appears to be connected still.

Thanks.

Mine was in a harness, hanging underneath the glovebox. I connected it to a brown wire (12v) from the harness to the left .

How does the brown wire come into the scheme of things? I have the ~18 gauge red and green wire, but don't remember a brown wire under there. I hooked the red and green to a battery source that was grounded to the body.

I got the wiring to use from "xcidmigs"'s post halfway down on the previous page of this thread.
The brown wire is hot, when the ignition is on. I believe both wires are 20 ga.

Thank you for the clarification of the wire size. I see where the brown wire comes into play now. Hrm. I guess I have some more digging to do. I put 12v to the green with red stripe wire, and got nothing, key off or on, engine off or running. The relay is plugged in up front. I'll pull it and see what wires are leading to it, they're wrapped with black tape.

I also saw a harness laying along where the passenger fender joins the inner fender/panel that is terminated with caps right beside that relay. I figured it was for siren and lights on the nerf bar, so I didn't really pay much attention to the color. I'll check this harness out, too.
