New Owner
Been on the lookout for a PPV for several months and finally pulled the trigger on this red beauty. It's a 2016 I just picked up from Houston

Thanks! It's actually a 9C3 from a Fire Chief in Oklahoma, but it was sold at auction and the guy I bought it from lived in HoustonCrashTestDummy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 9:40 am Welcome! So, red 9C1 from Houston, Houston Fire Department vehicle?

Thank you sir! Yeah I saw on a thread in a SS forum they only produced one red hot 2016 V8. This belong to a Fire Chief so it was never out on patrol. It had 51,500 miles on it and only 400 idle hours

Re: New Owner
Did you guys have issues getting the car insured? Progressive doesn't want to insure it because they say it's a police vehicle

Re: New Owner
Nice and a very rare red car!... But, the 9C3 RPO code was last seen in 2013 MY. The biggest hint would be the G8 style shifter and center console. And, the RPO code tag in the trunk... I wouldn't worry about it though. There are so many things and modifications that you can do to make the car "yours". It is a great platform to work with.

Re: New Owner
I insured mine with Progressive, had zero issue. I also had a 2008 CVPI insured, and police is in the name of the damn car. They don't WANT to, or they CAN'T?Chevyfanatic32 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 12:20 pm Did you guys have issues getting the car insured? Side note, hell of a rare car, looks great!
