Hey CP, I have a crazy idea.
I was looking at a picture of a police PPV that was wrecked in the back.
And I thought, what if I could import a Ute body and rebuild the back half of the PPV with it.
Then I would have a Chevy El Camino!
And a little less crazy idea, is there scale models of the Ute?
Dumb idea

Re: Dumb idea
There's left hand drive G8 utes that pop up on ebay and car sales sites in USA. They never left any factory in such configuration although the ads imply they did. If you search the VIN numbers you'll see they were G8 4 door sedans which have had their asses caved in during various accidents. Again you can find the accident location and dates by researching the VIN. So somebody is already importing Holden VE ute trays and grafting them onto the rear of damaged G8 sedans.
In Australia there are limos, wedding cars, and hearses made from WM Caprices so grafting is nothing new.
Yes there are Scale Model VE utes.
