2012 Caprice 9C1 - 19x10

Post by garrett »

Only had the car a few weeks at this point, but I couldn't resist playing around with a customer's wheels at work the other day. These are 19x10 et24 with a 275/40/19. I like the meaty pokey look, just not sure what is going to be possible on the front end. Maybe some people here with experience could chime in.

That's gonna collide with that fender when you hit a bump.

I have a 19x9.5 with a 56 offset with a 285/35-19 tire in the rear, and with a 5mm spacer I was nicking the fender on bumps at speed

Is your car on stock suspension? Lowered? I'm sure a stiffer spring would help.

Btw this is with the suspension loaded to the point of lifting the car up off the rack

Stock suspension, but jacking up a whee till the car lifts isn't full compression.

Put the car on the ground and jack up the opposite corner to see full compressipm

Correct me if I'm wrong but those are BMW 7 series wheels? If so they are staggered something like 19x9 front and 19x10 rear. U might be able to do all fronts.

Yes, also known as BMW style 231 wheels. If anything id want to try 4 rears, but realistically ill probably just do a complete staggered set. Im no stranger to "fitting the car to the wheels" if you know what i mean. At this point im just playing around with tire sizes to get the "look" i want.

The wheels look great and I'm really intrested in seeing how these work out. I think we can use another option added to the list of GM wheel choices. Please update with wheel/tire sizes and fitment. Nice find.
