Bill,

It is an RPO Option code on my 2012 Caprice... KTB - Wireless PDIM... was on both the SPID sticker, and on GM Global.

I do not know of anyone else that has the KTB RPO code.

I'm not questioning whether your car has it....I just don't see KTB in the 2012 or 2013 order guides, though I do see it on the Global Connect data printout that I sent you, along with KTZ (with no identity)

Looking at the Kerr online catalog, it just made me wonder if the (K) in KTB might indicate it was something installed after production (by Kerr), but that wouldn't explain it being on the SPIL or in the Global Connect data.

Wonder if this is the PDIM fitted to the 2012 cars.... it's out of a Camaro so I'm guessing it won't interface with the iQ unit....

Eric,

If it is, I wonder if it is installed in the center console like the G8's... I would need the USB/3.5mm wiring harness...

Bill, I had thought about that, too. I also found it strange that it's not listed in the Fleet guides... KTZ Option code is for the Law Enforcement engine tune... does anyone else have KTZ on their SPID?

I don't think that's the same PDIM, I have an 11 Camaro SS that has PDIM and it looks exactly like that. The USB cable from JHP plugs in the left of the IQ. There is no mini jack that plugs in the IQ and there is no 12volt power outlet either. The IQ has the module built in to the one I bought from JHP.

Hello and thanks for the info on service and insurance. Bill posted pdf’s of 2012 and 2013 RPO Codes. Is one of those available for 2011? I am currently interested in the Emissions codes. It looks like NE1 is what I should look for from an out of state vehicle. Anybody know of anybody with one of these insured, registered and stickered in Massachusetts? I am also looking at 2011 Crown Vic’s. Thanks, Norm.
