Well made some good progress on the interior this weekend. Wired up the side markers, heated seats, exhaust controller, back up camera and auxiliary USB. Got to say it's so much quieter in the cab with carpet.

Also got the wheels and tires mounted too. Went PC Gloss black. It's probably a fad but the time to wear bell bottoms is when they are in.

Nice. What's the tire size there?

The fronts are 245/35/20 on 20x9+35 and rears are 285/30/20 on 2"x10+45. The tire diameters are almost identical.

Below is a comparison to stock wheels and tires.

Nice. 285 is a decent amount of tire to get on the ground. I have a set of 2014 SS wheels, I got shortly after buying the car. I was thinking about getting them black poweder-coated, so they'd still look a bit OEM when going down the road. I was also going to do the black lug nuts, like you have. What are the ones you are using?

Here is a link to the lugs: https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/400954828495" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They are splined which I like for fit and the tool doesn't damage the finish.

Agreed! Got to pace myself. Brembo SS calipers are going on first. Fronts are on and waiting on some hardware for the rears.

Thanks for the info on the lug nuts. Still deciding. I may go that route anyway with the factory steelies, to get rid of the cheap chrome cap they put on the lug nuts. Those things are prone to come off, leaving you with an ill-fitting lug wrench at the most inopportune time.

Those calipers and rotors look nice. I stumbled on a set of Gen1 CTS-V calipers, that I'm waiting for them to ship. Then I'll order up all the other hardware.
