Stubborn washer fluid leak.

Post by HoldOn SV »

The upper neck connection often leaked after quickly refilling the washer fluid. I installed larger o-rings (#15) to correct this issue. I used stock-size rings (#17) at the tank-side connection, because the larger rings were a bit too tight there.

Right on. This is my 1st vehicle with a jug that's longer than it's height. As far as I can tell: the back pressure created from a fast fillup produces a siphon from the 1st location where fluid is pushed out in the wrong direction. I failed Washer Tech 101, so go figure.
